1 medium carrot (about 3 ounces), peeled and coarsely chopped
3 fresh dates, preferably medjool, pitted
1 tablespoon lightly toasted sesame seeds
1 tablespoon wheat germ
1/3 cup fresh orange juice
2 or 3 ice cubes
1. Place all of the ingredients in a blender along with a few ice cubes if desired and blend until smooth.
Yield: One serving.
Advance preparation: Best if served right away.
