You may be familiar with Gordon Ramsay’s TV series, The ‘F’ Word. Along with a tendency to use profanities notoriously, Gordon has recently gone public about his battles with a more family-oriented ‘F’ word. Yep, all that time in front of hot ovens and stoves is messing with Gordon’s fertility.
Gordon Ramsay is a celebrity chef and star of Fox’s hit television series Hell’s Kitchen. Now the father of four children, he and his wife had significant struggles with infertility, including a miscarriage. In an interview with Larry King a few years back, he shared more: “You plan a family, and it doesn’t happen naturally. You depend on the IVF. We had a miscarriage, which was quite a severe blow for her confidence and for our confidence. I had a very low sperm count on the back of standing in the kitchen for that length of time close to the stove. So we went through the motions. It was something we didn’t want to hide. I’m far from being embarrassed about it.”
